How I came to measure homes

I'm Jose. I've spent a decade teaching music in secondary school, and this is the story of how I ended up measuring homes.

Twenty-three days without sunlight

In July 2020 I spent 23 days isolated at home with covid, barely seeing daylight. I came out with an exhaustion I didn't recognise, headaches and anxiety that took turns (never at once, each on its own schedule) and a breathlessness I couldn't name. Every day I got the same follow-up call: take paracetamol, wait to recover.

A month later, at my parents' house, I started walking barefoot along the shore at sunset. I didn't understand it, but while I walked the headache and the anxiety faded, and my energy came back as if it were recharging. Once home, hours later, everything reappeared. “That's psychological,” people told me: you like the sea, the sounds, of course you feel better.

The olive grove

I went back to my routine and forgot about it. Three up-and-down years passed, until I began to notice something very specific: inside my own home I felt an anxiety I couldn't explain, with high blood pressure and tightness in my chest and neck. I remembered the beach and started sitting barefoot in the olive grove, 20–30 minutes a day. The anxiety went down and my wellbeing rose from the feet up, slow but undeniable.

That grounding experience made me ask how far the electromagnetic environment (in this case, the Earth's own) might be shaping my wellbeing and my health. It was a shock. Why had no one told me about this? That experience changed how much trust I placed in certain institutions and professionals, and pushed me to look for a deeper scientific reality.

I later discovered Spiro. In the months after I started using it I went through a radical improvement in my electrosensitivity, something that completely upended my assumptions. That's where Harmos comes from.

Training

From experience to method

I trained as an electromagnetic pollution coach and space assessor at GEMS Academy, licensed through the EFEIA institute. I began working with environmental bioelectrography thanks to the Bio-Well GDV camera, and assessing the coherence of spaces using the Sputnik antenna. Since then I assess and improve environments affected by electric, magnetic and radiofrequency fields, with particular attention to electrohypersensitivity.

When I later bought my own village house, with its old-style exposed wiring, I finally grasped something that is now central to my work: the difference between electromagnetic stimulus and exposure to artificial quantum noise, and why correctly sizing a technology like SPIRO requires professional advice, not intuition.

Today

What I do now

I see it up close in the people I love: some sleep among cables and chargers with no wish to change their habits; others have lived for years with tinnitus after a long time working on industrial sites, without asking whether there might be a connection. The information exists. What's missing is someone who points it out clearly, and that's what I do now.

In my experience, working with clients who present symptoms typical of electrohypersensitivity, I consistently observe an improvement in their sleep quality after the full process: assessment of the space, implementation of suitable measures, and adjustment of habits. I have also recorded, with the GDV camera, improvements in the electromagnetic environment of yoga and meditation spaces.

That's why Harmos works to a simple motto: tuning spaces with data. What is measured, how it's measured, and what it actually means.
